Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Postworthy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Postworthy is operated by Archetype Media Inc. ("Postworthy," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Service Description

Postworthy is an AI-powered LinkedIn content platform. We fetch industry news, analyze it, and generate LinkedIn post drafts tailored to your professional profile and voice. We also process source material you submit — URLs, podcasts, screenshots, and ideas — to generate posts. All content is generated by artificial intelligence and requires your review before publishing.

Posts can be published to LinkedIn in two ways: (a) by copying the post and pasting it into LinkedIn yourself (default), or (b) by connecting your LinkedIn account and using our direct- posting feature (opt-in). See section 7 below.

3. Eligibility and Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Postworthy
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account
  • One person per account. Sharing an account with others is prohibited
  • We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our discretion, especially in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms

4. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Postworthy is a paid subscription service. Pricing is published at /signup
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current rate until canceled
  • You can cancel at any time through the Customer Portal accessible from your account settings. On cancellation, your account remains active through the end of the current paid period
  • All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not prorate unused portions of a billing period
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal
  • Failed payments will be retried per Stripe's standard recovery logic. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be suspended or canceled
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

5. Free Trial

  • New customers may be offered a 10-day free trial
  • A payment method is required to start the trial
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and the payment method on file is charged at the rate you selected
  • You can cancel during the trial from your account settings without being charged
  • Trials are limited to one per customer. We may decline a trial at our discretion

6. AI-Generated Content

  • All posts and research are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain factual errors, outdated information, mischaracterizations, or inappropriate suggestions
  • Postworthy does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, originality, or suitability of any AI-generated content
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving AI-generated content before publishing it
  • You retain ownership of the content you publish. Postworthy does not claim ownership of AI outputs you choose to use
  • You are responsible for ensuring AI-generated content you publish does not infringe third-party intellectual property, defame any person, or violate any law

7. LinkedIn Integration

Postworthy supports two LinkedIn publishing modes. The mode is controlled by a per-account setting in your dashboard.

Default (manual share):

  • We do not connect to your LinkedIn account
  • The share action copies the generated post to your clipboard and opens LinkedIn's composer in a new tab. You paste and post manually
  • No LinkedIn credentials or tokens are stored

Direct posting (opt-in):

  • You may connect your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn's OAuth flow. We request the minimum scopes needed to publish posts on your behalf (openid profile email w_member_social)
  • Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in our database and used only to publish posts you explicitly initiate
  • We do not read your LinkedIn feed, connections, messages, or engagement data, and we do not publish content you have not approved
  • If LinkedIn rejects a request as unauthorized, we soft-revoke the connection and prompt you to reconnect
  • You can disconnect at any time. Disconnection deletes the stored tokens

LinkedIn's own terms of service continue to apply to any content you publish to LinkedIn, whether through Postworthy or otherwise. You are responsible for complying with them.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Postworthy to:

  • Generate or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, or that violates third-party rights
  • Generate or publish spam, misleading content, manipulated media, or content designed to deceive
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, or extract our AI prompts, models, frameworks, or proprietary processes
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or bypass any security or rate-limiting mechanism of the service
  • Share account access with unauthorized parties or resell access to the platform
  • Use the service to violate LinkedIn's terms of service or any other applicable law or contract

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of (a) the profile, voice, source material, and feedback you provide and (b) any AI-generated content you publish or otherwise put to use
  • You grant Postworthy a non-exclusive license to process your profile and inputs for the purpose of operating the service for you
  • The Postworthy platform — including its design, code, prompts, frameworks, AI processes, and brand — remains the intellectual property of Archetype Media Inc.
  • We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data (e.g., counts of posts generated, feature usage patterns) to improve the service. This excludes the contents of your posts and profile

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Archetype Media Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of Postworthy; (b) content you publish, including AI-generated content you choose to use; (c) your violation of these terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications — including changes to features, pricing, or these terms — with or without prior notice. Pipeline processing may be delayed, retried, or fail due to third-party service dependencies (e.g., Google Gemini, Tavily, Event Registry, Resend, Stripe, LinkedIn).

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Postworthy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, original, or fit for any specific purpose.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Archetype Media Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, reputation, goodwill, data, or LinkedIn account access — arising from or related to your use of Postworthy, regardless of the cause of action. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid to Postworthy in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars, whichever is greater.

14. Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Customer Portal. You may request full deletion of your account by emailing us
  • We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or non-payment
  • On termination, your right to use Postworthy ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, indemnification, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination
  • Data handling after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect, except where shorter notice is required by law. Continued use of Postworthy after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Postworthy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

17. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, government action, internet or telecommunications failures, and outages of third-party services on which Postworthy depends.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Postworthy regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
